How can i style my uniform to look better?

So i have a pretty strict dress code. We just got it this year and i’m devastated cuz its just sooo ugly and i cant find any good ways to make it POP. I’ve always been a girl of style and the uniform took that away. Do u have aby ideas on how to make it better? I go to public school so its not like a cute private school uniform.

Heres the dress code:

Shirts: knit polo style collared shirts – Plain solid color
- Must have a maximum of 3 buttons (not cap sleeve)
- All shirts must be tucked in and fit appropriately
- School t-shirts can only be worn on pre-approved days as long as they are properly fitted and tucked in.
- A single brand logo (approximately the size of a quarter) may appear on the shirt’s chest
or sleeve area
Pants/Shorts/Capri’s/Skirts: Acceptable colors –Navy, Khaki, & Brown
- All uniform bottoms must be a solid color listed above
- Uniform bottoms must have plain or pleated front
- Uniform bottoms must be worn at the waist, above the hip/pelvic bone
- Uniform bottoms must fit appropriately.
- All pants, skirts and shorts must have belt loops; length of skirts and shorts must be
below the knee in the standing position
- ALL ONE COLOR ATTIRE IS NOT ALLOWED. SHIRTS MUST BE A DIFFERENT COLOR FROM PANTS.
The following items may not be worn: – Jeans, Denim of any Color, Cargo pants, Carpenter pants Low rise bottoms, Hip hugger bottoms, Clothing that drags on the ground (ex. pant legs), Torn clothing, Extra zippers, Extra pockets, Ties and/or strings, Non-functional buttons, Ornamental stitching, Lycra, Spandex, Stretch fabrics, Corduroy, Ribbons, Ruffles, Bows, Slits on the pants legs and Tied waist bands
Belts: Belts must worn at all times
- Belt buckles should not display names, logos, flags, or other emblems.
- Belts must be plain and unadorned.
- Over-sized buckles are prohibited
Jackets/Sweaters: Acceptable color – Plain solid color
- May be worn on cool days and must not be buttoned or zipped up. The sweater or jacket must be worn with a shirt that meets dress code requirements and cannot be tied around the waist. Pullover sweaters, Pullover jackets, Pullover sweatshirts, and hooded sweatshirts/jackets are not allowed.
Footwear: Closed toe shoes

No sandal, slipper-type shoes or beach-type shoes, including shoes made out of mesh or plastic

Shoes must be worn fastened or tied appropriately and they must be a matching pair.

No wheelies (skate shoes)

Socks must be a solid color and worn appropriately

No “Croc” style shoes
Misc.: Bandannas are not allowed on campus at anytime
- Hats, caps, headgear (including head bands), gloves and sunglasses are NOT permitted in the
building. There may be exceptions for medical conditions (with a doctor’s note) and/or physical education classes being held outside which permit sunglasses and hats.
The administration will determine these exceptions.
* ALL OTHER DRESS CODE REQUIREMENTS ALREADY IN THE STUDENT HANDBOOK AND ALIGNED WITH THE SCHOOL DISTRICT
*The principal and staff will designate special event days and provide the students with information on how
the dress code may be altered for those days
The acceptable style and colors are available at all major department/ discount clothing stores.
man! great, i thought it was just me being uncreative so i couldnt find a way of making the uniform work. But now i know its da uniform, crap
I hate my school (i cant switch schools cuz all the other middle shools in da county has uniform except 1 middle school and dat 1 is full {wat a suprise})
